Focused Tasting of Georgian Wines

The Caucasus region is believed to be the origin of Vitis vinifera wine, and there is evidence of a very long and continuous history of winemaking in the country of Georgia.  Join local Georgian wine experts, Erika Frey and Lasha Tsatava, for a focused tasting of wines which represent both Georgian tradition and quality winemaking.  This tasting will serve as a thorough introduction to the major grape varieties and styles of Georgian wines.  Some light Georgian appetizers will be served.

This tasting will take place Monday, July 1, from 6-8:30 pm. It will be at City Winery Boston, 80 Beverly Street, Boston, MA, 02114 .
